Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month provides an opportunity for educators and students to reflect on this history, and integrate these stories into a renewed understanding of our American narrative. We encourage students, families, and educators to use the resources on the Department of Education website to explore further and deepen their understanding of this history.

Students in grades K-8 will have access to both academics and enrichment programming over the course of the day, including field trips, arts activities, and outdoor recreation.
Monday, April 11th is Cultural Pride Day. This week students will color in a flag that represents their culture. Each classroom door will be decorated with flags from around the world for Monday. We look forward to another fun spirit week!
Students entering kindergarten through grade 12 in September can apply now to attend FREE enrichment programs with STEM Matters NYC and get their hands dirty in the garden, encounter amazing animals, or design an art or engineering project.
Thanks to your donations the Parent-Teacher Association will be providing teachers and staff with lunch this Thursday, May 5th in appreciation for all their hard work and dedication! Let them know how thankful you are to have them as your teacher! Send a video, write a note, draw a picture, or just say, "thank you!".
Every year, we ask all families and teachers, and staff in grades 3-K through 12, and students in grades 6-12 to take the survey.
As our schools did their part in reducing transmission rates, so have New Yorkers as a whole. We are pleased to announce that as a result, we will be implementing changes in our current COVID-19 health and safety policies in our schools in accordance with the latest guidance.

The Department of Education recognizes that families need clear information to help them make decisions related to COVID-19. You can refer to flowcharts that outline the steps you should take if your child feels sick, was exposed to COVID-19, or tested positive for COVID-19.
